This hand-illustrated 78-card Tarot Deck is a sensual celebration of The Maker’s aesthetic in partnership with Ukrainian artist Daria Ermolova. Based in their shared hometown of Dnipro, she worked with our co-founder Alina Roytberg to create the custom artwork featured on every card.

The deck is filled with The Maker design details, such as our patterns, colors, and symbols.

Tarot, a centuries-old reading tool, promotes insight and self-reflection using symbolic archetypes to gain clarity through card readings, often held at The Maker Hotel, where inhibitions melt away. Each card is interpreted through a modern lens and holds the key to the future.

 The deck is printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified paper by a small printing press in upstate New York
About The Maker

Daria Ermolova is a Dnipro, Ukraine based illustrator who specializes in creating magic worlds with unicorns, illustrations for silk scarves and apparel, and patterns for textiles. Inspired by nature, mythology, tarot cards, comics, fashion and people, she draws unique worlds, compositions, and characters.

$50 is an expensive risk to take.

"$50 is not worth the risk nor reccomendation. I wanted to love it so badly, but I got a misprinted deck where some of the cards are significantly off-center to the right. Which would have been fine if I could get in contact with someone to exchange it. It's been a week of my intial email and 2 calls later (+1 trying to find someone to talk about the email, but I was redirected). Absolutely no response or indication they recieved it. Which again, wouldn't be terrible except for the 14 day refund policy. I'm working against the clock to make THEIR deadline while getting no responses. I want to support indie, but I cannot in good faith reccomend The Maker to anyone. $50 is too expensive for this mistake."

Beautiful cards, but be gentle when shuffling!

"Beautiful cards! The artwork is amazing. The cards themselves however are an inflexible cardstock material so shuffling is a bit difficult and will leave creases in the cards if you are not gentle. Don't let that deter you, though! These is a beautiful deck to add to your collection!"
