I really wanted to love this as all of the notes are right up my alley and exactly the perfume I’ve been looking for. But unfortunately the sandalwood is not creamy, it is harsh and really the only note you can smell. I would love to smell more fig, vanilla, and jasmine. The suede note is beautiful but fleeting. \nAlso the longevity needs improving, after an hour on moisturized skin, I couldn’t even smell the base notes. Which is disappointing because upon spraying you can feel and see how much fragrance oil is in the formula. \nHoping there will be improvements at some point and then I’ll happily buy as many bottles as possible as this is my ideal signature scent and I adore The Maker brand!

I'm saddened to give a bad review of this product, as I ADORE this scent. I previously purchased the Discovery Set and knew I wanted the10ml size of Lover. I planned to eventually purchase the largest size. For some reason, and I see this has happened to other customers, my bottle has evaporated or leaked somehow? When it arrived, the exterior cardboard packaging was highly perfumed as if it had leaked during shipping. The bottle was not filled to the top, but it wasn't by a lot, so I didn't think much of it. I have sprayed it once or twice since receiving (I'm waiting for cooler weather since Lover feels like a fall/winter fragrance to me), so it's strange that the liquid has gone down so much with barely any use. Even when I simply touch the bottle, the scent is all over my fingers and the exterior feels oily. I store it upright, so this is curious. The component may be faulty? It's not an inexpensive fragrance, so I'm very disappointed.
