This Francisco Zúñiga limited edition print is an offset reproduction from “20 Dibujos”, a collection of twenty images that depicts local and indigenous women around Central America, capturing their grace and strength. We feature his work throughout The Maker, notably in The Artist Maker Studio, and are thrilled to bring these prints to our Shop. Each print is in excellent condition, unframed, signed Zúñiga and variously dated between 1972-1974.

Mostly known for his paintings of rural indigenous women, Zuniga's prints articulate the raw emotion and sensuality of the working woman in all stages of life.
Francisco Zúñiga (b. 1912-1998) was a Costa Rican-born Mexican Artist and a master of figurative art, skilled at capturing the grace and strength of his subjects. His interest in the arts started early in life studying art history and various Renaissance painters. Zúñiga is often referred to as one of the 100 most notable Mexicans of the 20th century. His works are part of major museum collections around the world.
